Adam Hadrys - Goldsmith Form Creator
Adam Hadrys

He comes from Katowice (Silesia). His master, Stefan Wach, taught him to look at jewellery differently.
He had been maturing artistically for 17 years in Germany and in 1998 came back to Poland. Finally, he settled in Tychy and there still designs his own collections.
Adam Hadrys's jewellery is extravagant, untypical and unique. The titanium rings find their owners all around the world, e.g. in London, New York, San Francisco etc.
Devotees of his jewellery are independent people who are a success. His work is appreciated by experts in jewellery art:
"If a designer yields to fashion trends, he will swim with the stream - it is easier and faster. But... it is far more difficult and dangerous to row up the river. The flowing current can sweep you along by a stream.
Majority of people say: a madman - makes nuts and gaskets and calls them jewellery! He has to have a screw loose.
And he only wants to express himself - to infuse these things with his own soul, his own aesthetic. There is quite a big chance that he will hit a niche market then. The artist will find people who are appealed by his design and have been waiting for him so far. For them, this - saying badly - product will have a soul. For the majority - will remain rubbish. And he, stubbornly like Sisyphus, with this madness in the head like with an order, pursues the goal, going his own way - that of course is an uphill way - and mumbling under his breath: "because my lover is eternity". His aim is to create his own brand. Only when he succeeds, can set about the ritual of milking the golden calf which has been being fed so far." *

Man's Equipment
"Symbols play a considerable role in jewellery. My flagship ring is the Russian Roulette (designed by my son - as well as the logo) that symbolizes the male, atavistic love to risk. The shape of a revolver cartridge can also suggest associations with a phallus." *

I am pleased to inform you that the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland has received your letter in which you voice your wish to present the American firefighters with a gift of 12 "Russian Roulette" rings. *

Apart from the ring, the following articles are included in "Men's Equipment" set:
- bracelet
- tie holder
- cufflinks
- banknote holder

The work saturated with symbolism:
"In model Sabina, when I cut a slit and set a diamond (clitoris) at the end, Vagina was created. On the other hand, model Cylinder resembles a diesel engine piston. Each of my designs hides less or more masked symbolism that often refers to our instincts." *
Clients of the artist are often celebrities:
"My customers are people of dignity that know their own worth. They will regard my advices - what and where they should wear - as a faux pas on my part." *

I would like to warmly thank you for your beautiful gift that has brought me so much joy. "1 moveable" is a unique design - combines such elements as: extravagance, simplicity and modern style. I assure you that I will be wearing the present. *
